Svenja Heinecke

Svenja Heinecke sees herself as an interdisciplinary universalist. She studied International Information Management and European Studies in Hildesheim and Frankfurt/ Oder. After a 5-year-excursion into the (“evil”) world of commercially-driven journalism, she finally found her way to the Berlin based NGO Sozialhelden to a set of tasks “making sense” and a team worth spending 8 hours a day with: Since 2013 she is the community manager of the project Wheelmap.org, a connecting piece between the community, the product and public relations. Running big international mapping campaigns and keeping the users active, she is the contact person for all those who want to get involved with Wheelmap for accessibility. In her second job Svenja is a yoga teacher and she loves to fill the clichées of an all-loving, mantra-chanting, ayurvedic-vegan karma junkie.
