The journalist Frederik Fischer has spent almost his entire life in the city: in San Francisco and London, in Amsterdam and, for about ten years now, in Berlin. Together with Katrin Frische and Patric Meier, he founded the KoDorf initiative. Together with other homeowners, the building cooperative wants to create a village with several houses, common rooms and a coworking space. The first KoDorf is being built in Wiesenburg (kodorf-wiesenburg.de). Four more co-villages are planned in Baden-Württemberg, Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia. In Wittenberge, we are activating vacancies with the Summer of Pioneers, launching a coworking space and enabling 20 big-city creatives to live in the countryside for six months on a trial basis and cowork (wittenberge-pioneers.de).
