Rosanna Kurrer has her background in Architectural Engineering. After completing her architecture studies, she worked as a CAD designer, after which she went on to do graduate studies in the field of building physics at Kyoto University in Japan. She has written a program simulating various modes of heat transfer through building elements and varying materials, impacting heat load calculations of engineers. Rosanna is now active in formulating curricula, as well as teaching computer programming and 3D design & printing classes specifically targeting girls and women, and is also currently building a community of girl coders and 3D designers called the g-Hive at the Digital Leadership Institute in Brussels.
