Prof. Dr Bertolt Meyer

Bertolt Meyer holds a Phd in Social and Organizational Psychology from Humboldt University Berlin. He was appointed as a Professor at Technische Universität Chemnitz, Germany in 2014, where he also currently serves as the director of the Institute of Psychology. His research interests include diversity and the effects of bionic technology on society. He is also a spokesperson for the manufacturer of the bionic hand that he wears. Meyer and his views on the future of bionics and enhancement have been featured in many media outlets, including the award-winning science documentaries “Homo Digitalis” (WDR/arte, 2017/18) and „How to build a bionic man“ (Channel4/Smithsonian Channel, 2013)
