Bernau

Varinia Bernau is a tech reporter at WirtschaftsWoche who is especially interested in the social impact of technology. Before joining the team of WiWo, she worked for Süddeutsche Zeitung as tech reporter for more than five years and for one more year as a correspondent in Nordhrein-Westfalen observing how Germany’s old economy tries to find its way into the era of digitalization. She studied history and psychology at the universities of Bielefel, Paris – Denis Diderot and Salamanca, which was a perfect preparation, because technology is not only about numbers.
